My letters are usually at least 10/12 pages, then, when you know the other better letters usually comes longer and longer each time :-)
I always use cute stationery and decorate my letters with stickers and when I get closer with my pals I usually exchange gifts for birthdays and Christmas.
In my spare time I like reading, shopping and traveling. I'm addicted to LUSH (.com) products, because they are made in the respect of animals - I love animals and my BF is a veterinary. I'm not vegan or neither a vetegetarian, but I'm conscious that we should live in peace with the animals and the planet - thing that seems so hard for us humans to do!
In my letters I usually write about anything: I write about my life, my opinions, my dreams and clearly I reply to my pals' questions, I love to exchange different points of view, discover the differences in our countries and ways of living our lives, and so on!
I also know that lifes sometimes is very busy and sometimes it's hard to find time to write letters, in the latest 2 years I had often this problem, so it's okay if you sometime need extra time to reply, but I don't like when I get only 1 or 2 letters a year.
Other random things I like: travelling (London is my fav place!), the sea, going out with my best friend for a cup of tea or chocolate, spending time with my BF's doggie, spending time on Purse Forum (I am a bag addicted and collect them!), watching my fav series (Sex and the city, scrubs, skins, camera cafè and many others!) and many other things.

My name is Manon, I live in the Netherlands.
I am 42 years old, stay at home mom to four (g14, b11, b8, b3) and blessed with a lovely husband. As I was penpalling since I was about 10 years old, you could say that I am addicted to snailmail. Last year I joined the penpal-force again, after years of changing diapers and writing a letter now and than. And I love it! Writing a letter is like meditation to me; cleaning my harddisk, making friends and learning, learning about life, countries and other traditions. (I love traditions!)
My other main hobby is being creative. Knitting, embrodery, scrapbooking, painting, cooking, backing, gardening, nature,and loads more. I collect postcard, dishes with english pink landscape prints, silver objects, plants (also inside the house), stickers and stationary (wich I also like to use again), and all kind of things. I am not a real shopping-girl (not care so much for materialism) but I am addictit to the seconhandshops and fleamarkets! Maybe you can call us a bit frugal, but in the wright way..
