Rules to follow when making an FB...
- If you notice that more than half of the names in the book are from the US, please send the book to a different country. It's no fun when you get an FB back and everyone is from the same vicinity. It's nice to have a good variety of pen pals to choose from!
- Make sure your pen pals don't mind swapping Friendship Books before you pass one on to them. They may not know what it is or don't like swapping, and the FB get's thrown out or never passed on. If you really need to pass it on and are not sure if who you're passing it to will accept it, be sure to let them know to return it to you so you can try again. Whenever I get a new pen pal, I always ask up front so I'll know in the future.
- Did you look at the abbreviations yet? If not, check them out here. They will really help you out, so I advise printing them out. If someone put "SNNP" underneath their name, please respect it and don't write to them. Plus, you'll be wasting postage if you ignore it!
- Here's a given, but don't send the FB to someone who is already in it! What would be the point!
